How We Help

Our Services

The Interchurch Council meets needs in a variety of ways across our community. Here are the primary services we offer, though we also fill needs in other ways throughout the year. If you need help and are interested in receiving our services, fill out the Contact Us form below.

Food Pantry

We don't verify income, but provide a box of food to anybody who needs help. You may receive food once a month.

Mon-Wed-Fri
9:30 - 11:15 AM

Tuesday Together

Each Tuesday we deliver over 100 meals to low-income people across our community.



Counting Sheep

We want every child in South Central Iowa to have the comfort and security of sleeping in their own snuggly bed. So we give beds and bedding to kids in need.

Homelessness Support

Sometimes challenges mount and you don't know where to lay your head at night. We offer hotel vouchers for a single night and transitional housing for those who need help for a few weeks.

Financial Assistance

The Salvation Army is run out of our Ministry Center. When your finances run out but the bills are due, they provide provide support to pay bills for up to $200.

Chaplaincy

Finding yourself in the hospital can be a scary place. We provide chaplains to visit and pray those who want a friendly face to meet with them.
